Experience,thoughts,mind’s eye

Tomorrow is the first day of our new semester that is going to be started at our fascinating new campus.I am very much engrossed as well as so much confused,Because the new campus hasn’t been perfectly completed to be started.I don’t know why the authority decided to start new semester so hurriedly, A delay about atleast 1 week would be better for us.However ,Our new campus is going to be started with lots of excitements. I have heard our University authorities have decided to arrange few events to make this journey Historical & memorable.Our guardians also have been invited.I hope those events will be so much attention-grabbing in our memories.

As that upcoming sessions,The unforgettable memories of our old campus are knocking out of us.I know most of us will not forget the adda & study at “star Hotel” & “star cabab”.When our adda was continued for a long while the serving boys(our mama) became very much bothered and warned us to vacant those seats.Then there were no way to stay there for any short period..I can remember the tasty “Special Porota” with ‘dal’.Most of the time I ate it actually.The behavior of serving boys is very friendly.That is the another goodwill of “Star Hotel”.As our library had not enough seats to study,so the almost alternate way of studying was “Star Hotel” & “Star cabab”.But at the time of our Quizzes it was really impossible for us to find any places to study.That places were totally jammed by students.After a long struggle we got a place to study.In my first semester when I saw at the time before our quizzes ,all the stairs of every floor were full of students ,are taking their preparation.Because they didn’t find any place to study.I was really wondered to see that.In a private university,such kinds of students are here who are very much concerned about their studies.Though Our university had not enough facilities but it has such students from good academic background.That’s why AUST is the icon of private Engineering educaton in Bangladesh.I can remember the movement of students demanding our permanent campus.That was took place in front of our canteen at that time we left our all classes of all departments.It was a great strike of us.Many daily news papers & TV medias covered that news.As well as our demand was not perfectly fruitful,our study was greatly hampered. After all, we are pleased that we are going to be started our new semester in newly built permanent campus.

As we have only 2 years in AUST, we hope we will pass this short period with lots of excitements & thrilling events.Best of luck AUST in their historic journey in permanent campus.
