Experience,thoughts,mind’s eye

When i heard About Linux-Operating system,then i was very much interested to know it perfectly.What is linux?It was my first question to myself.I have to know it.Which depends on open source.Then i have learnt that Linux operating system is very much suitable for Server Based workstations.It is all most a recommended platform for System administration.To learn about this gradually developing operating system,i have started a course in BASE LTD,which is very much recognized for their IT related courses,such as Oracle developers,REDHAT linux etc.

May be some of us know about a RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer).This certificate can be treated as a Golden certificate.For what?Because among the total world,only have 25000 RHCE.thats why it is considered as too much tough Job to be a RHCH.Todays world is totally networking based.In that case Linux OS is totally secured & faster.As an Electrical Engineering Student we need a good command over networking & system adminsitration.In future as a system analyst,Linux OS administrative skill will be helpful for us,i hope.Moreover it is too much usefull for them who are very much willing to do job or study abroad.Because there,everything is totally Linux OS based.

Tomorrow is the first day of our new semester that is going to be started at our fascinating new campus.I am very much engrossed as well as so much confused,Because the new campus hasn’t been perfectly completed to be started.I don’t know why the authority decided to start new semester so hurriedly, A delay about atleast 1 week would be better for us.However ,Our new campus is going to be started with lots of excitements. I have heard our University authorities have decided to arrange few events to make this journey Historical & memorable.Our guardians also have been invited.I hope those events will be so much attention-grabbing in our memories.

As that upcoming sessions,The unforgettable memories of our old campus are knocking out of us.I know most of us will not forget the adda & study at “star Hotel” & “star cabab”.When our adda was continued for a long while the serving boys(our mama) became very much bothered and warned us to vacant those seats.Then there were no way to stay there for any short period..I can remember the tasty “Special Porota” with ‘dal’.Most of the time I ate it actually.The behavior of serving boys is very friendly.That is the another goodwill of “Star Hotel”.As our library had not enough seats to study,so the almost alternate way of studying was “Star Hotel” & “Star cabab”.But at the time of our Quizzes it was really impossible for us to find any places to study.That places were totally jammed by students.After a long struggle we got a place to study.In my first semester when I saw at the time before our quizzes ,all the stairs of every floor were full of students ,are taking their preparation.Because they didn’t find any place to study.I was really wondered to see that.In a private university,such kinds of students are here who are very much concerned about their studies.Though Our university had not enough facilities but it has such students from good academic background.That’s why AUST is the icon of private Engineering educaton in Bangladesh.I can remember the movement of students demanding our permanent campus.That was took place in front of our canteen at that time we left our all classes of all departments.It was a great strike of us.Many daily news papers & TV medias covered that news.As well as our demand was not perfectly fruitful,our study was greatly hampered. After all, we are pleased that we are going to be started our new semester in newly built permanent campus.

As we have only 2 years in AUST, we hope we will pass this short period with lots of excitements & thrilling events.Best of luck AUST in their historic journey in permanent campus.

There is some magic about the Bengali new year. Its not just the sudden “Boishakhi Jhor” or the fresh scent of newly ripened mango. It’s the idea of magic. Pohela Boishakh has always been the time when one can easily forget about the past and take a bold new step into future, armed with good thoughts and the idea of a new beginning. Sure we Bengalis like to make many a resolution on the eve of English New Year. But it’s the Bengali New Year when we can really start to think about starting a fresh page in the book of life, a new story, a brand new chapter and its our own culture of celebratio.Here The old chapters don’t mean a thing any more.

31 march,2008 ,its the day of the inauguration Ceremony of AUST permanent campus.AUST is the first private university of Bangladesh which has full fledged own campus.The new campus built on 5 bigha land,has a 10-stored building including 2-level basement with a total floor area of more than 4 lac sq.ft. The inauguration Session was attended by professor Dr.Iajuddin ahmed, Honorable president ,people’s republic of Bangladesh and Chancellor of AUST,professor Dr.Anwar hossain,vice chancellor of AUST,Mr.Kazi fazlul Rahman,president,AUST,Mr.Kazi Rafiqul Alam,president & CE,DHAKA Ahsania Mission and Professor Dr.AMM Safiullah,Vice Chancellor,BUET.By unveiling the plaque,Professor Dr.Iajuddin Ahmed started the in auguration ceremony.

I am here with a different topic.When I admitted in AUST,this was seemed a new world of my student life.I didn’t know anybody of my class(section D).I always tried to make friendship with them & was searching to find real friends.Today I am here just telling observations about the students of our class.I am not depicting anyone’s name just sharing with my friends.

Some students of our class are really so much selfish.They always try to keep good friendship with whom,who are better talented then others.They only need their concepts,prepared notes of solutions etc.They don’t want a real friendship.Actually they are very eligible for doing such egotism.I really very much bothered about such reedy mentality.I have faced it perfectly then other students of our class.

Another types of students who are very much serious about their study,but don’t get their desired output(result).May be luck always doesn’t sit beside them or for their lack of concepts,just memorizing …

Another types of students who have ability to do good result but are not too much serious with their study.They always try to keep themselves in any creative work,their thinking is good,very creative but they should try to secure average good G.P.A.Though A good C.G.P.A. is not the main requirement for us as engineering students,It’s the main prospective requirement is Experience of doing creative projects,thesis etc.But a average type of C.G.P.A is also necessary to get chance to show their experiences which they have earned.

The type of Students I will tell now its like a Vacationer.They have come here only for passing four-year vacation.Their aim is only passing their study hours by gossiping and other odd jobs (I don’t want to mention actually).They have no targets in their life.Infact how far they would fix their goal,they don’t know about how much wide their field of struggle,liability to their families.

Last of all I am very pleased that some guys of our class are really good and innovative.They have good personality also.The numbers of such guys are very miniature.I don’t know in which category of students I have mentioned here,I can be placed.

Hurting anyone was not my intention,just for sharing my experiences and for passing my leisure hours.

Electrical engineers work with electricity in its many forms - from the electrons to the large scale magnetic fields. In addition to designing new products, they construct, operate, and maintain a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment. Some specialize in electronics, others in even more specific areas, like space communications or industrial robotics.

Examples of Such Contributions:

• Invent better MRI scanners, allowing doctors to see even more clearly inside a patient’s body
• Create special effects for the movies Design cell phones that work more reliably and have more features
• Develop artificial retinas for the blind
• Work on satellite communications systems that connect people around the world

Electrical engineers design new and better electronics. They also test equipment and solve problems. A project starts by deciding what the new electronics will do. Then, the engineer designs the circuits and other parts of the electronics. Engineers might draw their designs using computers. Afterward, the engineers test their designs and make them better. Many projects don’t work at first. The engineers have to figure out why and then fix them.

Work environment:

Electrical engineers usually work 48-hour weeks, but can work longer hours on projects with pressing deadlines or in emergency situations. They often work on teams with other engineers and scientists and can find jobs in industry, government, universities, or in consulting.

**Electrical engineers have good job prospects. Jobs for electrical engineers are expected to grow about as fast as the average for all occupations through 2014. There will be a need for more electronic devices like giant electric power generators or wireless phone transmitters.

**The starting salary for an electrical engineers:

B.S. Degree: $51,888

M.S. Degree:$64,416

Ph.D. :$ 80,206

So,Now it’s the time to think about Electrical Engineering to meet the challenge of Avant-garde modern Technical Global world.

After 1 month, I am here in spacing a gap in my blog.I was busy with my Semester final Exam,which was started 2^nd march,ended 19^th march.Actually I am very much dissatisfied about my Exams.Numerical,Math,measurement exams have been poorly passed.Moreover I am not satisfied perfectly with Machine exam.However,Digital Exam was satisfactory,It can be told.

___This semester was the last semester of our present campus.We are very much happy that we are going to be started our new semester in Our newly built so much decorated campus.What a stunning campus it is !

___As we know that our university has a good reputation in Engineering education.In this year we have placed 1^st position in WEBOMETRICS ranking among the Bangladeshi private universities.How have we got this fame?its only for stricted,highly maintained Quality in educational system and Qualified and trained Faculty members.But we had not decent campus.As we know that the main pre-requisite condition for a university is to have a first-rated campus with qualified education..Now we can say that We have a such a magnificent campus.

___I hope With the new campus,The fame of our University will be accelerated greatly.

One day the People will say,

Today i am very glad.Our EEE based online journal “AUSTronics”has been officially launched.We, about 5 students(asif,arif,razie,tahseen,kanto) have been working for this online publication for a few days ago.Our favourite sir Md.Adnan Quaium has been supporting extremely.We are very grateful to him.We completed perfectly the site development before and were eagerly waiting for the official inauguration.Asif has done excellent job in the site development.I have designed the title banner of it.Razie and tahseen are contributing in Publicity.Finally our Journal has been launched.Actually we are very much delighted that our honorable teachers have appreciated this kind of initiative(the first-ever initiative from our varsity) of building only EEE based online journal.Already they have submitted their useful articles.Everyone is welcome,anyone can submit their Electrical & Electronic Engineering based experience,assesments,project details,etc.Through my small eyes,i am seeing the far-off way of AUSTronics that seems sparkling in intense brightness.

18^th January,Birthday of my dearest nephew Samin ahnaf.1 year ago he was born by the elegance grace of Almighty.As that was the first birthday of their son,my sister and bother-in-law were very happy.We also.Samin’s grand father,grand mother,uncle were also present.All of them gave him nice dress,toys and many other gifts of different kinds.Samin could not understand what was happening but it seemed very pleasant seeing his happiness by getting those interesting & attractive toys.Though we had a small Birthday party,we can say it was full of joys,full of satisfaction,full of enjoyment and also full of gratifying to GOD.Long live our samin ahnaf that’s the main plea to allah.
